Lohifushi island resort is located in North Malé Atoll, 19 km from the airport. It only takes 30 minutes by speedboat and 1 hour 30 minutes by traditional motorised boat, the “dhoni”, to get to your dream destination. The fascinating ride will give you a foretaste of the beautiful surroundings and the exotic atmosphere awaiting you on the resort.

Lohifushi's reputation as the best destination for surfing in the North Malé Atoll is certainly justified with around 7 or 8 surfing breaks (Ninjas, Lohi's, Pasta, Sultan, Cokes, Honkies, Chickens, Himmafushi); only minutes away from the shore.
Situated half way up the east of north Male' Atoll, the resort has a quality left hander, Lohis, right your door step which is a great swell indicator for the rest of the atoll.
The surfing season is from March to October with May to August being the most consistent but if you would like to escape the crowd, early and late seasons still have quality waves.
At the resort there is a resident surf guide through out the surfing season who is here to help make your stay as enjoyable as possible and keep you up to date with the conditions and swell predictions, as well as keep you informed of all the other facilities and activities available here at the resort. |

Accommodation in Lohifushi Island Resort
Lohifushi offers rooms for every taste, standard and budget, designed and equipped in such a way that you feel immediately at home: Standard, Superior , Deluxe rooms and Suites. Banyan Restaurant
The main restaurant is very spacious and bright; breakfast- and dinner- buffets and lunch a la carte are served here. If you feel like a change you can try the Chinese Food corner in the Banyan restaurant. Or what about pizza or pasta – O Sole Mio, located between the reception and the swimming pool, pampers you with real Italian food and delicious meat and fish from the Haveeree Grill.

Bars
Our four bars are conveniently spread over the island to make sure you never go thirsty wherever you are at any time. The Sunset bar is attached to the Sunset restaurant, on a wooden deck overlooking the sea and one of the best places to enjoy the magnificent sunsets in the Maldives with an exotic cocktail during Happy Hour. Around the swimming pool you can find the Hiyala bar, ideal for a refreshing drink after a swim or sunbath. |

The Lohi's Surf bar at the southern end of the island, where you can find the best breaks and waves, is a must for active and passive surf fans.
